Tangerine picking (appeltjes van oranje)

Binjang Forest Park, about a 40 minute drive away, has a large tangerine orchard. Rumor has it that the harvest had started early this year and that the tangerines were exceptionally sweet so off we went for some serious picking! At the gate the kids got scissors and a plastic bag each. Walking into the orchard was a feast: tangerines here, there and everywhere. Pick a bag full and eat as much as you can was the motto. They loved it and had lots of delicious fruits to take home and share with their friends. 

Bo & Li

Please meet the latest additions to our family, Bo & Li. A cute little sister and brother that were rescued by a nice Chinese lady, have now found a new home with us. At three months old, they are tearing through the house, eating like crazy or sleeping. The kids adore them and fortunately the cats love them too; they are amazingly social. Looking forward to lots of furry fun!
