We received the below message as a weather warning today. It's -20 degrees Celcius (-4 fahrenheit) on the thermometer right now, but the windchill results in a 'feel' temperature of minus 37 degrees!
When you look outside, the sky is blue and the sun is shining. Fantastic winter weather!
BITTERLY COLD ARCTIC AIR WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE REGION THROUGH TUESDAY. LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL DROP AS COLD AS 10 BELOW TO 15 BELOW ZERO WITH NORTHWEST WINDS 10 TO 15 MPH. THE COMBINATION OF THE WIND AND BITTERLY COLD TEMPERATURES WILL PRODUCE DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS OF 25 BELOW TO 35 BELOW TONIGHT INTO EARLY MONDAY MORNING.
IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS...DRESS IN LAYERS AND COVER ALL SKIN. MAKE SURE YOU WEAR A HAT AND GLOVES. LIMIT OUTDOOR ACTIVITY TO MINIMIZE EXPOSURE...AS FROSTBITE CAN OCCUR IN 30 MINUTES OR LESS.

A WIND CHILL WARNING MEANS THE COMBINATION OF VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS WILL CREATE DANGEROUSLY LOW WIND CHILL VALUES. THIS WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA OR DEATH IF

Wat een !@#$%^&* koud weer man, -20! Leuk om weer even op jullie BLOG rond re neuzen en gefeliciteerd met het huis! Leuk stekkie, wel een beetje groot?!? Betekent die verbouwing tot mei dat we dus (weer..) niets af kunnen spreken? Ik zou evt. in april nog wel misschien een weekje hebben.. Laten we snel weer even bellen, heb een hoop te vertellen over Australië en de vrouw die me volgende week vanuit Australië op komt zoeken..
